Intel to Slash Desktop CPU Prices by up to 20 Percent, Add New Models

now i wonder what i am

i wonder how a 945ES compares we will see

A 945ES? still not as good clock for clock........... oooppppssss I gave the game away

:p

cool what about the others , yeah they do some drop before for q9550 and q9650 but we need more

So basically, it is going to have the same specs as the original E6300, but with a higher multiplier and clock speed. I wonder what instructions sets it will have, I hope it has SSE4.1.

It'll have everything that E5000 and E7000 series have, so yes. It takes cache from E5000 series and FSB from E7000 series.

That makes it E6000, but is there really a market for this (all of them), with 3 processor families being so close to each other. If Intel plans to drop the E5000 series, then it makes more sense.
