bit-tech.net has posted an interesting interview with NVIDIA's Chief Scientist David Kirk. The article deals with the comparison between NVIDIA's FX series and ATI's R5xx series, as ATI's current X8xx series is still built on the 9700's architechure. Now as ATI switches to Shader Model 3 they are facing the same delays and problems NVIDIA faced when they were working on the GeForce FX.
Also in the interview, David Kirk discusses the RSX chip in the PS3 and it's relation to the 7800 core as saying "The two products share the same heritage, the same technology. But RSX is faster."
