don't worry about it, the die shrink takes care of the heat issues. the single slot cooler is sufficient, even for overclocking.

ok, the card does work in sli see above link
BUT it tests under kload to 72c at back of card, thats a shitL!!d of heat in my case!
so, am I the only one worried about this?

Take a look in the 3D Mark 2006 thread, a guy has just taken top single spot with a single 8800GT, almost 14,800 points!......and this is just a mid ranged G92 :eek:

To answer RangerOne's question....I thought that the main thing behind PCI-E 2.0 was to make more voltage to the slot available therefore in the future only requiring a single 6 pin PCI-e rather than ever needing the 2900XT setup of a 6 pin and a 8 Pin as well as the 75W from the PCI-E 1.1 slot, if thats the case then it should not make any difference?????

Judging by those bench marks in those reviews. You would be crazy not to sell your GTX and buy 2 GT's... In every game they are gettin at least 30fps more.... The card uses less power than all the other high end cards as well, which also means less heat. I do believe these cards are the way to go atm.... especially if you had a couple of HR-03GT coolers to go with them.

That is just my opinion though.

I am truly hoping the 2950Pro will be able to match it for performance, cause then we all gain from a price war, I think the 2950pro is due to be released a week Monday?
