Hello,

If your GPU is broken, then yes, BIOS flashing is extremely useful. If it is broken, there are many people on this forum who'll be happy to help out, and if need be, explain how to flash your BIOS. But if your GPU is completely fine, there is no need in most cases.

Hi

Welcome to TPU

If the vga card is opperting as intended by the manufacturer Do Not flash
[Note: most cases of vga card instability are heat or driver related]
On occasions the manufacturer will release a vbios image updates that will be made avalable through their website [in general, but not limited to memory timmings and fan profiles]

+1 Laytonjnr

Always make a backup of the Original vbios image and **keep it in a safe place

Your GPU works? Easy answer: Don't flash it! I would hate to tell you that I (we) told you so.

Thanks All. My GPU is new & 100% working. That's mean, i don't need to FLASH the BIOS.
Thanks Again All of YOU. :toast:

It almost feels like we need a sticky thread explaining when GPU BIOS flashing is necessary (and how in most cases its unnecessary) in the GPU section. Hopefully this will help out any new people to the GPU world to understand GPU BIOS flashing.

You're welcome! Happy to help.

if you need more power you can oc it, i think its saver than flashing it
flashing it is kinda risky, some just bricking their fully work card
