As you know Afterburner is finished and will be unplugged soon. I overclock my own card and use it that way, can I do this from within the driver or with a small program?

Agree with kapone32, took me a bit to get used to the interface, but it works great on my 3080 Ti.

You could use EVGA Precision
Evga has stopped production, how long will the software support continue?
Although not as useful as Afterburner, I will use Thunder master at this rate.

" As you know Afterburner is finished and will be unplugged soon " This statement is 100% completely wrong. The media made it a huge deal when in fact everything has settle and msi afterburner it's on track and will get much better.

Directly from the front page at Guru3D:

" After yesterday's vast number of assumptions/conclusions from many media, we're happy to release MSI Afterburner 4.6.5 (Beta 4). This release adds improved voltage support towards the latest graphics cards, among other things. "

Brand new release today of msi afterburner ;)

That's not new whatsoever; In a comment made in the Development Thread for Afterburner after someone linked to the 4.6.5 Beta thinking it was also new, Unwinder (The Developer) said:

"It is the same old build I posted here in November. Nothing new for those who visit this thread, we just put it to main page downloads to make it visible to bigger user base."

Also Afterburner *is* potentially finished. Unwinder has even stated he will no longer be developing it unless MSI somehow manages to pay him for it which they've allegedly been trying to do for the past year but aren't able to due to Sanctions, and he's said they're going to try again but due to failed attempts in the past he's not going to put much hope into this latest attempt.

The answer is no, not without at least AMD Adrenalin or Nvidia Experience. Both brands have built-in OC tools now. Technically you don't have to install these with the drivers and I usually don't. Just bloatware to me. So the only real (good) alternative is MSI Afterburner, which after this generation of GPU is looking to be dead.

Hi,
Well you can use nvidia control panel and switch to prefer high performance that will get you boost clocks.
Then do shunt mods and the shunts will report half the power being used ;)
