As the title says.

I installed an app while I was logged in to the windows store but found out later I didn't needed to sign in to get the app.
I removed the link from the pc to my outlook account and I can still use the app.

Only now windows is nagging me everyday with a message that it couldn't sign in because the password may have been changed.

I think I just need to login in the windows store on the account on which I have installed the app and then wanted to remove the app, log out and reinstall the app without being logged in.

But it seems there is no way to remove apps once installed from the M$ store???

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

It's not in the app list or whatever its called?

It's only in the M$ store app library when I'm logged in but from there there's no way to remove it.
Also the app doesn't appear in the Settings> Programs and Features list.

check what it is in those folders and try remove it from win explorer

The Apps are installed in the
C:\Program Files\WindowsApps folder

I don't have this folder.

Edit: OK it was hidden.

Edit: I don't want to mess things up.

It depends on the App, some can't be uninstalled. Like Windows S Mode.

The easiest way might to be just check Settings -> Apps. Find the app in the list, click it, and see if there is an uninstall button. I've gotten a few apps from the Microsoft store and been able to uninstall them that way.

That was it! I was able to uninstall it from there.
I always use the old little icon control panel and there it wasn't in the list under "Programs and Features".
Thanks!

I was able to use the app without signing in but unfortunately unable to install it without signing in on the M$ store on my desktop.
:ohwell:

Though I installed the same app on my laptop without signing in!!

For the record, if you're worried deleting stuff may "mess things up", you can simply move those things first ;)

I swear by this for preparing clean images at work and my home pcs:

I go into audit mode first thing, before OOBE and run this script. Reboot back into OOBE and set up normal from there.
