Hello
I'm wondering if the quality and/or any other properties are different when a file is recorded with a Navi (5500/5700) and Vega 56/64 - when using ReLive
Based on specs I see that Navi uses Video Core Next and Vega uses VCE.
I can't seem to find a lot of info on AMD's video recording components, unlike Nvidia's NVENC which is very well detailed (eg. Turing TU10x/TU116 "Sixth generation NVENC implements HEVC 8K encoding at 30FPS, HEVC B-Frames support and provides up to 25% bitrate savings for HEVC and up to 15% bitrate savings for H.264.")
Media info of my Vega 64 recording:
Can someone provide me MediaInfo on any file recorded on a Navi card?
I'm exploring all options, but need to see what Navi has to offer.
Complete raw dump of Vega 64 recording:
