I have a problem.. a friend of mine wants to game on his PC. He's needs a little more RAM, but that's not the issue. The issue is his case can only take low profile cards and his board is AGP. Neither the case nor the board can be changed in this situation.

So I ask you, because I can't find any, "Are there any quality, cost effective, low profile, AGP, and DX 9.0c class cards available with 128-256MB onboard?"

Like I said, I can't find any and I'm not sure if they exist.. but if there are any GF 6-7's or X1K's out there matching the description above or close, please point me in their direction. :(

you could always get a low profile adapater too, if you just get a regular height agp card.

Not sure if I know what you mean? Most full height have dual DVI or DVI and VGA.. making them to big for a smaller bracket.

well you cant except a 8800gtx for agp low profile lol

lol But seriously, I'm trying to find a way to adapt a 2600Pro to low profile... if the screw holes for the upper DVI port come off with the original bracket it may be possible. Or perhaps forcibly removed even....

all that i remember is a X1550 and maybe a 7300GS/T

my card

yes there is i have a nvidia geforce 6200 low profile agp w/256mb ddr2 for just 70bucks very little lag and it gets the job done

Never even heard of a case which needed a low profile adapter.
News to me. . . .
So I'd be guessing it's the case which is the issue.
Too bad your mate is wayover there or should I say I'm way way down here, I have a full size ATX which I'm trying to give away.
It's actually more solid than my current case, just boring biege, heavy and a pain when it comes to LAN parties.

Thanks to everyone who has replied, however it appears the best I can get under the circumstances is a 6200 with 128MB DDR memory. It is a shame that there isn't more available for AGP low profile.
