Hello,

Are these cpu and mother boards good to put with a 3060 or 3070 for 1080p or 1440p gaming?

CPU's: AMD Ryzen 5 5500, AMD Ryzen 5 4500, AMD Ryzen 4600G, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, AMD Ryzen 5 5600

This combo: AMD 5 3600 and a Gigabyte B450 motherboard

Motherboards: MSI B550-A-Pro, MSI B550-VC- PRO, Asus B550-Plus Prime, ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming, ASrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4

All the CPUs and motherboards you've listed would be fine for gaming. The 5600 of course would be the best and, as long as you're not overclocking, all of those motherboards should be more than fine. If you're getting a good price on that 3600/gigabyte b450 motherboard combo then you absolutely should go for it because that is plenty for all modern titles.

5600 + MSI B550-A-Pro + rtx 3060
3070 is stupidly expensive when you have the RX 6700 XT option, unless in your region is cheap.

Plenty is a perspective, i wouldnt touch a 3600 atm unless hes on a tight budget and the best he can do to squeeze an rtx 3060/3070 or rx 6700 xt is getting the 5600.
There are some cpu demanding titles out there. Even at 1440p he will need more cpu power

Yeah the mid & low tier 30xx cards have stagnated in price, so it's kind of pointless to buy them. A 6700XT will be at most 50eur more expensive than a 3060 - you might even find it at the same price if you're lucky - and it's so much better there's no place for comparison...

That's fair.

Why wouldn't the 3600 be good? Would it be ok to play stuff like Minecraft, Witcher 3, GTA V ? Not worried about high refresh rates, 60hz is fine.

Yes all the combos are good just build and go

You were asking giving those options, we dont know if youre on a low budget build and what games/genre you prefer.
i just told you IMO the best parts that you mentioned for a gaming build that will serve you good for a while for 1080p o 1440p.
Not everything is high ref rates, to keep those 60fps stable you need some power in modern cpu demanding titles.
But if you think that build will be more than enough for your needs , go ahead and have fun.

He just means that unless there is a large difference in price - which is unlikely since the 5600 is already really cheap - or you're extremely strapped for cash - there is no point in buying 3600 as the 5600 offers much better performance. Basically it's the same argument I was making about the 3060 and the 6700XT ^^

The 3600 comes with a free motherboard that's why I am interested

Might be a very poor motherboard to be free...
my 3600 was free ... i bought the mobo 99 instead of 149

outside of that ... @Yoshiii335 look my system spec, i run all my games in 1440/1620p60 so, basically every CPU you liste would be fine ...

as for GPU as someone mentioned check the RX 6700 XT instead of the RTX 3070, mine was 450 a 3060 was 650 and a 3070 was 750, i even saw a RX 6750 XT recently for 499, sadly 3 months after i bought my Powercolor Red Devil RX 6700 XT, no regret tho, that card it an absolute perfection for 2560x1440p (and even 2880x1620p)
(my currency is Swiss Francs/chf which is 1/1,07 chf/usd)
