I have some spare ptm7950 and thinking of replacing the thermal paste on my msi suprim liquid 4090. The delta between temp and hotspot is already very good, so I thought maybe msi used some good thermal material. I see some people say msi has been using ptm/pcm on their higher end 40 series cards and up. If its already ptm/pcm, I wont even bother.
Looking at the techpowerup teardown photo, can anyone tell if this is ptm/pcm? The first image is the liquid 4090. The second image is the aircooled suprim 4090. Looks like there is more pump out on the liquid than the aircooled, which makes me think maybe its not pcm. Thanks!
