A little noisy for me. Thankfully both my intake & exhaust fans have their own controllers, so I can play with how loud it is depending on heat and what I'm doing.

Mine is loud but thats fine I game so dont really notice unless I turn it off
4 Antec 120's
30 dBA
1 Antec 200
30 dBA
2 XIGMATEK 120's
1. 24 dBA
1. 30.1 dBA
Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan
25.2 dBA

my computer only loud because of the stupid old hard drive

ha ha mine is also a loud one...but i like loud pc's ...like to hear some sound when i sleep....sound of so many fans.....

9x 120mm Yate Loon D12SM-12 (33db)
1x Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan (25.2db)
1x Antec Spot Cool (estimate about 27db)
1x Asus Maximus Formula Chipset Fan (around 22db)
1x EVGA GTX280 (pretty loud...I have it cranked)

A Loud PC is a good PC loud means the fans are running and doing their job, which is cooling the system a "silent" PC is an overheated PC unless you have everything watercooled. Oddly enough the loudest fan in my system is the fan built into the cooler on my "Silent Efficiency" cooler, which isn't very silent when it's spinning at 3750 rpm (100%).

:toast:  words of truth...

It is noisy, but not overly so.:) The air purifier is louder.

Yes, and I love it.

When i start up a game my GFX fans and CPU fan spring into action and i know im awesome.

As with my car, loud = fast, being silent just is no fun.

:wtf: My computer is so loud I had to put another loud computer on my left side to balance it out. :p Left side is 58db, right side is 55db from about a foot away.

What did you use to test db readings for you computer? I've always been curious how loud mine is when fans are turned down to fully cranked up.

Mine is loud.

My GTX 295 while gaming you must set the fan around 80 %100 % and is freakin loud !

CPU cooler is loud too, standard mode on BIOS overlocked and Q fan enabled.

The rest is very quiet only that two are loud !

It's not so silent, but considering the sheer amount of fans there are inside my case... I have seven 120 mm fans (counting the one on my CPU heatsink), three 92 mm fans (Accelero Xtreme 8800) and two 80 mm fans. My GPU fan speed automatically throttles down to 30% when not gaming though, as they produce a noticeable hum at night when set to 60%.

Little noisy here but don't hear it while gaming :).. But it's more like a ticking clock you don't hear it till you think\look at it.

Mine is pretty loud, or so people tell me. I dont notice it until I turn it off. Then the silence is deafening, and I cant sleep, lol. I keep it on pretty much 24/7. Its loud and that makes people know you mean business (just like cars, as someone above said). Silent pc's make me think of my office and thats definitely not what I want to think about at home.

mine was loud, to the point where a took out all fans other then gpu cpu and smashed them....

just to find out the fans making the noise were the gpu and cpu.....

It used to be extremely loud. I replaced the 15K disks with SSD's and the CPU fans with two Thermalright blocks and a single 120 mm fan. It turns out my 26 was very silent already. Can hardly tell if it's on now.

Mine isn't exactly loud but it aint quiet either.

The noise isn't from my pump or from the fans directly but from the sound of the air flowing through my rad, so i can't really complain :D

Noise is good.

My main PC is kinda loud, but i like that, im like Shadowfold :D

My 'progressing' folding comp will be silent, but thats cos it's in my room and will be on at night.

Thing is, i have an extractor fan in my room, so i can sleep easily with my main PC on at night.

my rig is very loud...
it beat's 40 Dell PC when the CPU fans running @ 4750RPM

i remove all the fans attached to my case
the sound still deafening...
it turns to be the PSU and the CPU stock fan that's making the sound...

My new one is nice a quite, which is good because I sleep in the same room as it. It's quite thanks to the Noctua U12P and SSD!

Its only loud when the CPU is being used a lot(like in games), the CPU fan starts to pick up speed and sounds like a small aircraft is about to take off in my system. But since i have headphones it doesn't really bother me.

But on a normal basis like when i am on the internet, no its really quiet.

not noisy... but not silent. when i watch a movie i turn off all the fans except the hdd fan (1200rpm), but the hdd still makes some annoying noise to my ears.

I have all fans go to 100% on login, but it's not really any louder than one of my chainsaws.

Yes mine is really loud I have 6 120mm fans blowing at full speed I have the video cards fan at full speed and 2 more fans at full speed . When all the fans are running like this they tend to be very loud oh and a water pump as well this is not that loud at all though .

I love it and wouldn't have it any other way :D ...
