Issue with CPU-Z, GPU details not showing. GTX 1080 Memory and clock greyed (Alienware Aurora)

Hello guys

As the title states and you can see on my images, I have an Alienware Aurora R5.

CPU-Z (latest version) detects my GPU in the graphics tab, but it doesn't display my clock speed or memory

Why is that? Is something wrong? Anything I should be worried about?

CPU-Z is not really made for that. Use GPU-Z.

yeah I mean, I know GPU-Z it's the "real" option for analyzing a GPU. I'll download it now, but I'm just wondering, why CPU-Z doesn't show those details, like for agent_x007
Actually I have another PC with a GTX 960 and the clock and memory details are also there, so what could be wrong with the 1080?

Might have something to do with mobile graphics generally being integrated in to the BIOS, and not having a separate BIOS, but that's just a thought.

Could be because your motherboard is Dell & isnt reporting as well as others. CPUZ likely works by reading information from the GPU through the motherboard, and Dell isn't exactly known for sharing, its likely the board. notice the readings on your motherboard tab arent all the way filled in either

Its probably because its OEM equipment from mobo to gpu.

ya, prebuilt's and aftermarket parts some times just don't fully jive if at all . be grateful it works as a add in card for a display action . lots do this upgrading and stare at a black screen and end up with a paperweight new card . also look to see if your dell / alianware offers a new bios update that may offer help and better support for your latest aftermarket cards . as you know with a dell, HP, or acer for example any upgrading you do over what they offered out of the box stock is all at your own risk to work correctly .
all they guarantee to work is what they offer as there upgrade options [if any ] and parts installed from the factory sold to you out of its box . not a drop more

then like said may not show in cpu-z but may show all readings under GPU-Z ?
