it randomly just crashes to desktop, or corrupts the screen and i got to restart it. i have my specs to left.

Crashes to desktop are not unusual when loading between maps, just one of the many wonderful 2142 bugs/glitches. But corrupt screen is something new to me??

well i only bought it like 12 hours ago. but i cant even play for more than 20min and it crashes

Need to figure out why it's crashing. Check the ERROR LOGS: Go to controll Panel > Administrative tools > Event Viewer > then either SYSTEM or Applications(both) and try to find a listing of an error that occured the same time as last crash.

Also go to Start > Run, type in dxdiag > ok

Then post the error so we can help.

Try removing your overclock..?
When u say screen corruption does it go yellow..?
The crashing thing does happen from time to time as does the not being able to connect to a server first time and PunkBuster-b stopping working and .......but it so addictive...

when i say corrupts the screen i mean it freezes the screen and the current sound keep repeating it self.

but i bielieve i fixed it. i was using atitool to overclock my gfx card. but when i use ntune and overclock gfx to same levels 646/748 it works fine.

Well that's because you overclocked too much. Not the game, it's you

Atitool doesn't looser memory timings when going to higher clocks, so even if you are using same clocks with ntune, your card is slightly slower and that's why it works. Atleast this is how it works with other ati OC programs, ntune could be different, but doubt it as the game crashed for you and now it doesn't.
