With all the advice i have recieved from this forum about which processor i should purchase, i decided to get the sempron 2800+ 64-bit 256k and 512mb DDR 400 in combination with an Nforce 3 motherboard and iam quiet impressed.

Iam in the process of testing my new processor with my current graphics card Radeon 9600 with the core @ 452mhz and the memory clock @ 432mhz; With my old system i would get on 3dmarks 2001 approximately 2850 however now i get a score of 9225, thats right my score has tripled however iam still unaware if this is a good score. Should i be scoring more for my settup?

The processor is still at stock speeds, i will experiement with the overclocking of the cpu at a later date.
