Hi guys
I barely know anything about computers, so i decided to come here for help.
Earlier today, I uninstalled the keyboard driver for my razer huntsman TE keyboard.
I expected the driver to reinstall after I restart my computer, because it usually does with other keyboard drivers.
However, after I’ve restarted my computer, the driver is still missing and my keyboard is still not functioning.
I have lots of assignments due for school, and I need this fix as soon as possible.

Please help me!!
Thank you.

Unplug and re-plug the keyboard while the computer is on, then download drivers from link below
Download drivers all over again and install

I already have synapse 3 installed, should i uninstall, restart my computer then do what you said?

try unplugging the re-plugging the keyboard back in, while the computer is on.
Other wise reinstall synapse 3 drivers for keyboard

i downloaded synapse 3 but my keyboard still isn’t functioning.
do i have to download drivers somewhere else?

also i have plugged it in and out while the computer was on and it didn’t do much

reconnect keyboard
then
System Restore ( to before you uninstalled keyboard )

i dont know about your board but my k70 can be reset by holding the ESC key and unpluging and repluging the lead, the pc wont recognize untill this is done maybe your keyboard may need something the same might be worth a look on razer site.

I am looking through the huntsman TE website and it seems like there is no way to do that
There is a feature to factory reset devices on the synapse 3, but it isn’t detecting my keyboard
I really appreciate everybody’s responses and help but I don’t know if I can get this fixed unless I factory reset my PC
Maybe there are more ways to solve this and I’m just unaware because I don’t know much about computers.
I’m really not sure though

do you have another K/B to try, it could just be broken and you need to rma it.

I do not have another keyboard unfortunately
but I do own a laptop
I’ll try and connect the huntsman keyboard to my laptop and see if it’s the keyboard itself causing problems tomorrow, but right now it’s 4:30 AM and Im going to try and get some sleep.
Thank you though

just test, does it run when you turn on the pc and accessing the bios (by pressing del key?)
have you tried plug in it on USB 2 ports, since some not work well on USB 3 ports

I have not tried either of those, will definitely do tomorrow.
Thank you I appreciate it

Have you tried a different USB pair of ports?

Try unplugging the keyboard then do a "cold" reboot with the keyboard unplugged. "Cold" means to shutdown Windows and the computer, then unplug the computer from the wall (or, if equipped, flip the master power switch on the back of the PSU to Off (0) for 15 seconds or so. Then plug it back in. After the computer restarts, plug the keyboard back in, but to a different USB pair of ports.

Makes sure keyboard filters are disabled. Click on Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, then ensure slider for Use Filter Keys is set to Off.

If still no luck, beg, borrow or steal a different keyboard and see what happens with that.

I tried this method and still no luck.
I really do not know what to do anymore, and I don’t know what’s causing this to happen
( EDIT: Oh my goodness, after trying your method a couple of times, the driver finally installed. Thank you so much, you saved me )
