As the technology of CPU and GPU keeps evolving, it is no doubt that Virtual Reality has explored itself in mainstream lately. Games and apps applied to VR devices have already grabbed gamers' attention worldwide and everyone just can't wait to jump into the bandwagon of games. However, it actually takes more than VR device to experience the alternative reality. HyperX, a division of Kingston Technology, the independent world leader in memory products, provides a total solution for gamers to upgrade the system and make sure it keeps up with the suggested requirements.

To have nice and smooth VR gaming experience, it's recommended to have at least 8GB modules within the system, and 16 GB if you need to work on 3D rendering or video editing. For gamers who want to upgrade the RAMs, the upcoming Predator DDR4 at Kingston will end the wait. The aggressive design offers greater heat dissipation to optimize reliability while the black aluminum heat spreader and black PCB complements the look of the latest PC hardware. With fast frequencies up to 3333 MHz and total capacities up to 64GB, Predator DDR4 will make sure you feel no stutter in virtual reality.

HyperX Predator DDR4 DRAM delivers fast frequencies with low CL15-CL16 latencies to keep enthusiasts and gamers in the lead. HyperX Predator DDR3 DRAM is also available in speeds up to 2666MHz with low CL9-CL11 latencies for an overall faster system. Both HyperX Predator DDR4 and DDR3 is 100-percent factory tested at speed and backed by a lifetime warranty, free technical support and legendary reliability.

In addition to components upgrade, the latest HyperX Cloud Revolver headset is also a perfect match for gamers looking for all around VR experience. Featuring a studio grade sound stage with 50mm directional drivers, HyperX Cloud Revolver delivers wider depth and width for improved audio precision in open environment virtual reality games, and it will match visual with perfect audio performance.

Marketing B.S. at its finest :))))

DDR4 3000+and CL9-11 in the same sentence would be something worth reporting.
Sadly, all we get is a useless add with nothing new or exciting.

these looks nice. I wonder what ICs they are using. There are some Microns that do CL11 2666 at 1.35V but I think only B-die could do CL9 at 2666 without a ton of voltage unless there are some new ICs.

Doesn't matter. The ones you see around in reviews usually don't end up at the store shelf. Kingston is horrid. They slap on any random parts on their products.

From what I've seen the 2666mhz Fury kits are pretty consistent in being Hynix AFR

I have seen a lot of kits... including the new savages being utter crap and causing incompatibility on recent boards, they just doesn't boot or cause hang ups. RAM usually is marked with their brand name thus making it available for cheating. Same series modules often differented like night and day often.

Their SSD's also ship with various NAND IC's... the results are rather wonky from the advertised ones on tech sites... so no thanks... no more from this brand.

I wouldn't buy a 16GB stick even if I had the money.

Why? Crappy timings?

How they tied it up to the VR craze right now..beautiful :D

I noticed that too. They used the buzzword 'VR' four times in this announcement; it's kind of pathetic.
