It's an exe file that allows you to see exactly which controller and which NAND Flash dies your SSD is using without having to remove stickers or doing anything that might void Warranty.
just google Flash ID SSDs and you'll see some photos i'll send you a link in the future when you get the drive.

If you mean "Phison nvme flash id2" then the output is in the original quote I have provided.
I have already one installed in my desktop pc.
Yes that's the tools, oh you did? i didn't see it sorry, can you print screen it again if it's not a trouble. If it has different components, i'll catalog in our database

Nevertheless, the speed of mine SNV2S/4000G is similar to QLC drives, see the sustained write speed after cache runs out. And SLC cache recovery is very slow if there is.
(Please note that the read speed is impaired by using only Gen3x2 slot).

I have an opportunity to get 1TB version of Kingston NV2 for 40 Euros instead of buying 500GB version of Samsung 980 or WD Blue SN570 for 37 Euros. Is it worth it to risk it and get the Kingston not knowing which controller is on it and if it's TLC or QLC version? Thanks.

IMO, from what i've seen, like dozens of NV2's, most 500GB and 250GB are TLC, there might be QLC... I don't know for certain. But those QLC versions are most frequent on 1TB and 2TB, specially on 2TB

You can do the math. Even if you get an 1TB QLC drive you usually get 250GB in SLC mode. With the 500GB TLC drive it will be 167GB in SLC mode. This will get you probably the advertised speeds and the rest will depend on the actual drive performance, recovery time etc. In this case they are all low-tier DRAM-less drives with no significant performace difference.
So in my opinion the larger capacity is always worth, you have 50% bigger SLC cache and double the capacity if need be. That is a no-brainer to me.

I could not help it. $279.99 Canadian for 4TB of NVME is sweet. If the price holds I will buy another one when I get paid to have a 8TB NVME RAID 0 array for less than $600. For me these are plenty fast even if they are not the fastest in class.

And according to AS SSD, what driver do you use? I believe stornvme is regular Microsoft driver, or iaStorA is Intel driver which you may or may not have installed.

Well, maybe switching to another driver helps. Either generic Microsoft, or maybe SMI nvme drivers.
In my case, Phison utility works with both microsoft or phison driver in windows 10.
Anyways, there is a review of your 004.A00G drive
and it says SM2267XT + Kioxia TLC

Comience copiando a 1,83 TB/s.

I've signed up to be able to share the 2Tb nv2 drive I bought.

I will use the disk for the system and to install games.

I hope to do some disk tests in the next few hours.

I bought the disc at Pc Componentes in Spain this May 8th.

The disc is on sale for €84, free shipping.

In the synthetic tests, everything seems to be fine.

When copying large files from another ssd the performance is bad.

Start by copying to 1.83 TB/s.
When you get to write 200GB the speed drops between 500 and 200GB/s. The write speed goes up and down.

When you get to write 800GB the speed drops between 160 and 30 GB/s.
The writing speed goes up and down.
Sometimes the write speed drops to 0GB transfer.

To complete the copy of the 1.913Tb files it takes 2 hours 50 minutes.

Is this the normal operation of the ssd?
It seems like a very slow ssd in writing.
You transfer Chia Plots.
I think the e21 dont like these File Type.
you have:
ELFK1N.x:E21T + KIOXIA 112L TLC 1Tbit 2-Plane (1TB/2TB/4TB)

Check Temperatures with Hwmonitor or other tools.
I use phision nvme 1.5.0 Driver, it works a little bit better.
