Hi, my friend is looking for a laptop for uni.
it will mostly be used for general surfing web chat, movie watching, word proccessing etc. He would also like it to run football manager which isnt exactly the highest demanding game ever. I know you can get laptops that will fulfil these requirements a bit cheaper, but just looking for something thats a bit future proof.

Any opinions on this?

Thanks

these days in the UK you can pick up a decent laptop at tescos. however - you can also look at meshcomputers.com - they do some really good deals.

however it would seem like that is going to be a good deal.

I'd recommend ebuyer - always doing damn good deals on laptops, got my sisters fujitsu siemens off there, cracking little thing for about £400. Have a look!

Hey! thanks for the replies.
I use ebuyer quite a lot for media and i used it to get the components for my computer, but when i had a look a couple days ago i didnt find much that looked like it could outdo this laptop...
I cant actually find much else on this model elsewhere, samsung also have a mobile phone called r510 annoyingly which does not help. I was trying to find what chipset this uses as i know that will effect the gpu considerably
