i updated a customers new laptop, yesterday with Windows 8.1 did as Microsoft advised, fully updating Windows 8, before going to the AppStore and install Windows 8.1.
but now, with the AMD Graphic Driver installed from AMD's website, it don't wake up properly, it only shows black screen
to make it more bad, this laptop is on Lenovo's "Windows 8.1 Upgrade Capable Systems" List
the list: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?DocID=HT079684
and i don't have a "System Restore point" from before Windows 8.1 got installed, but i do have one from before installing AMD Graphic Driver but that don't help much either, and no i can't use Lenovo Recovery Discs because there are none, with the laptop and i ordered them through IBM Global Services, but still i won't have them until next week, and i would like to have Windows 8.1 up and running, bcs i have tried it at home, with Nvidia graphics of cause because i don't use AMD/ATi at home and i haven't dumped into any issues at all.
So a little help would be nice.
and too add now i tried Lenovo's AMD Driver, and just blackscreen instantly when Windows 8.1 starts up
seriously Lenovo makes a really good and solid product here and with a nice pricetag you get i7-4600u, 8gb memory, 256gb Samsung SSD, Intel HD 4500/AMD Radeon HD 8670M graphics and they fuck up Windows yet again, i heard some a college that it was the same when Service Pack 1 to Windows 7 came out, that many of Lenovo's computere didn't work properly afterwards, they had problems.
