LIAN LI Industrial Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of aluminium chassis and PC accessories, is proud to announce a new addition to its LANCOOL series with the LANCOOL II MESH PERFORMANCE and LANCOOL II MESH RGB. Built upon the award-winning design and features of the LANCOOL II, the LANCOOL II MESH incorporates new features that improve chassis airflow and offers an updated look. Available in PERFORMANCE and RGB, both variants sport a dense mesh front panel and left PSU shroud panel for better thermal performance, with different fan configuration and I/O ports focused on fan speed control or lighting effect control respectively.

LIAN LI pushes the limits of the LANCOOL II MESH front panel and left side panel with a mesh density that offers the least amount of resistance for maximum airflow while limiting dust infiltration. In addition, the honeycomb pattern perforations located at the top and rear of the case provide for a boost in ventilation. To complement the added benefits of the mesh, internal modifications have been implemented at the top of the PSU shroud with two new modular openings. Users can either leave the two openings uncovered for an unobstructed airflow between the top and the bottom chamber, mount them with fans to increase the ventilation efficiency, or use the included perforated mounting plates to install 2 SSDs without suffocating the PSU chamber.



To RGB or not to RGB
PC DIY enthusiasts have the option to choose between the PERFORMANCE and RGB configurations. For the LANCOOL II MESH PERFORMANCE, only available in black, the case is equipped with two 140 mm PWM fans in the front and an additional 120 mm PWM fan at the rear, as well as a PWM fan hub which can host up to 6 fans. For the LANCOOL II MESH RGB, available in black or white, the case ships with three front-mounted 120 mm ARGB fans. The PERFORMANCE version of the LANCOOL II MESH exclusively features a fan speed adjustment switch. Through presets of L (low), M (medium), H (high) and A (auto), temperature and power-conscious users can instantly switch between 45%, 75% and 100% of the fan's full speed, or let the motherboard thermal management solution take the reins. For the RGB version, the lighting effects of the 3 included ARGB fans can be fully managed by the I/O's C button to switch between the 7 color options, and the M button to toggle through the 8 lighting modes available.


Packed with great features
Inspired by the LANCOOL II, the LANCOOL II MESH is still packed with proven features that make the building experience pleasant and smooth. This includes flip panels all around for easy access to every part of the chassis, modular cable cover plates for easy cable management, an adjustable drive bay and front radiator mounting bracket for optimal flexibility, as well as a cable management bar which can be flipped to accommodate larger motherboards.

Nice looking front panel, but you have disassemble & then reassemble the entire front I/O panel just to gain a single USB-C port...why not just build it that way at the factory.....dick move #1 IMHO...

And once again, something that is advertised as "WHITE" is in fact only partially so, and that stupid black frame around the glass door & the interior really spoils what could have been used for a true "Snowblind" build but cannot...dick move #2

But hey, at least it is reasonably priced, comes with several fans & a hub, and can hold several drives, so there's that ..:ohwell:..:rolleyes:

Yeah, no, packed with grating features I think.
No front ports.
Useless drop down panel beside the PSU section.
No extra overhead space for radiators.

It's almost like they hired a ThermalTake designer for their recent cases.

USB-C connectors and cables are much more expensive to build. GN has a video about it (youtu.be/Y1Tmtd51clI).
It can add up to $10 on top of a price of a case for a single port. So when we talk about a case that fits into a price range that has a LOT of aggressive competition out there, $10 just for a port that many people might not even find much use for atm, that's a serious decision the brand has to make. They opted to offer it as an optional extra, for those who really need USB-C, which is fine. The only bad thing is how badly they opted to hide the hole on the I/O, which doesn't look good.

Supply & demand...
Chicken & egg....

If more case mfgr's made cases with the ports, then people would buy more stuff to connect to them, which would increase demand for the ports & cables, which would cause more of them to be made, which would reduce the costs per part yada yada yada... :D

That is no. Not every board has connection to support USB-C
So not inclusing it is the correct choice. For me, my mobo does not have it, so i save $10.
