hey everyone, I would like people who are interested, to post which gpu is their favorite.
list with the company, gpu, and sku

Company = EVGA, Sapphire etc.

GPU = GTX 680, HD 7970 etc.

SKU = Referance, Superclocked!, TOXIC etc.
sometimes even this info is not enough so list the memory amount aswel ^^

or you can just list your current card and I will add it to the gpu db :)

Company = 3dfx
GPU = vsa100
SKU = voodoo 5 5500 pci pc

testament to this gpu is the fact it still runs to this day. Not only that it's a very decent card to have if you want to play old 16bit colour games in a modern machine. PCI specifications haven't changed :D

Company = ATI

GPU = r300

SKU = 9700pro agp.

Probably the second longest lived of all my working gpu's I was using it in a system with no need to upgrade for a very long time. I got it in the release year, and the card that replaced it was an ati x1950pro. That equates to about 5 years of working life.

Sapphire HD 6870 Dirt 3 Edition
925/1050

This was/is my favorite card i have owned. My first Dual-X cooling solution, which lead to my 7870 purchase :D

Company= Hercules

GPU= R300

SKU= 3D Prophet 9700 128mo DDR AGP
(still in use in a Athlon XP 2600+ build i have, will be swaped for the next one i list under, soon)

Company= Sapphire

GPU= RV480

SKU= ATI Radeon X800 GT 256mo GDDR3 AGP

Company= Clu3D

GPU= Cayman Pro

SKU= Club3D HD6950 2048mo GDDR5 Coolstream Edition
(my current card in my second rig, clocked like a 6970 but not yet fully unlocked)

Compagny= XFX

GPU= Tahiti Pro

SKU= XFX R7950DD 3gb GDDR5
(non Black Edition Clocked 50/25mhz core/mem higher than a BE currently in my main rig)

hows the 7870?

great, man! It never goes above 56c in gaming or GPU crunching and is easily the best purchase I have made GFX wise. just for shits 'n' giggles:

Sapphire HD7870 2GB OC
1050/1250

My favorite AGP graphics cards:
XFX 7950GT 512MB;
Gainward 7800GS+ Golden Sample 512MB (24 pixel and 8 vertex pipes);
GALAXY 6800GT Glacier 256MB;
PowerColor X800XT Platinum Edition 256MB;

And favorite PCI-E cards:
XFX 8800Ultra XXX 768MB;
BFG 7950GX2 2x512MB;
XFX 7900GTX 512MB;
Reference design 7800GTX 256MB;
Club3D X1800XT 512MB.

I also like my current MSI GTX660Ti PE OC TwinFrozr4 2GB.

Company: Matrox
GPU: Eclipse / G200
SKU: Millenium G200 AGP 8MB RAM

played quake on this.
:D

good times.

Company: ASUS
GPU: GeForce 9800 GX2 TOP
SKU: EN9800GX2/G/2DI/1G

ASUS 9800GX2 TOP

I had two of these ridiculous folding beasts back then, many WU's folded until both had a tragic death in a single month span, one GPU core failure.

Hard to say...

Loved my ATi x850xt PE. Otherwise its the Amd 5850

my favorite is the one that is currently in my rig... because it's the fastest and provides the best graphics.

This is the ATI Radeon 9500 that was soft-modded through drivers to a 9700 with great success...

Company: SapphireTech
Card: ATI Radeon 9500 Atlantis AGP 8X 128MB DDR Video Card w/TV-Out & DVI
SKU: Not available

Cost, in Jan 2003: $158.99

Supplanted by an X800GTO in 2005, which was also a great card.

my favorite is the one that is currently in my rig... because it's the fastest and provides the best graphics.

Come on man, show some nostalgia, lol

My Lovely ASUS 9999/TD which served me well until 2010, when I got my laptop, and shortly after that, it began artifacting. :P

A GeForce 6800 AGP 8x with 128MB DDR. (Only ran at 4x due to motherboard limitation)

Edit: Also taken a like to the AMD APUs.

I got loads of love for my5870Hd 1gig memory brand vtx3D because for the money its a stomper , ,bought on release day and still does 1050 core clock 24/7 stable and has folded for 2 years non stop.
Second would be the 64mB matrox m3d 3d only add in co processor (it had no outputs for gfxs) I had it in a p75 olivetti envision desktop pc to play duke nukem 3d niiice.

Its my current 580 Lightning
