Quick susgestion,

should there be a live chat box somewhere on the front page of TPU, somthing small out of the way.

also, was the chat space on the front page before? or a separate area like its own thread.

How about just use the TPU Steam group chat? You know, something that's already established so no one will be bothered with the task of creating or managing the room.
