Is anyone else experiencing weird issues with the recent (July 29th) version of Logitech G Hub?
After installing it, I've had my system not only reboot, but reset various other software settings.
I'm not quite sure how to explain things, but I've had window sizes of various, unrelated software resize itself or forget certain settings after the system glitches and reboots.
The reboots only happens if I turn off my display (which I do if I leave my computer for a bit) into which the Logitech dongle is attached, as my computer is on the floor.
It doesn't happen every time I turn off the display, but maybe two out of three times. I also end up with a very low resolution and default login picture for Windows and this is when I know the computer has rebooted and reset the various weird stuff.
Things like Skype ends up going from whatever size I've resized the window to, to near fullscreen and this applies to a lot of other things as well.
Uninstalling the G Hub software fixes the issue and this is why I know it's related to it.
Not really looking for solutions here, just confirmation that I'm not going insane.

You dont need g hub. Just use Logitech onboard memory controller

I'm aware of this.
Again, this is just a sanity check, as I have never come across anything like this ever before.

I stopped using softwares for keyboard and mice because of this issues (for any hardware for that matter)

That's nice, but how does this help confirm what I've written above?

Can you share your pc's event viewer logs here?

I have a G910 and a G604, I use Ghub a lot for gaming, each game has a different keyboard color setup. I turned off automatic updates cuz I know how Logitech can screw shit up. My current version is 2020.8.5950 and have had no issues. Others have post issues like this, so I dont plan on updating if everything works fine as is.

There used to be a way to download and install previous versions with the old LGS, not sure now with Ghub.

I have zero problems.

Must be a combination with something else then, maybe iQue? I don't really have anything else installed that it could interfere with. :(

corsair icue is completely broken.
just save your settings to the devices, take icue out of the autostart and put the three corsair services on Manual. (so only when you acutally need ICue for something they are running)

I guess you haven't used the new version then? I have had zero issues with it, so I honestly don't know what people are complaining about.
I need iCue all the time, since it controls my liquid cooler and I have a pair of headphones where the driver is integrated with iCue, so not running it is not an option.
Not running G Hub is an option on the other hand.
Again, this doesn't really help with my concern in the first post, so thanks for nothing.

You're not going to like my reply. I did a refresh installation when I went over to a AMD cpu and I have not had the problem since. I turned the auto updates off. I tried everything and couldn't rectify it. I even contact logitech and they tried to help but no luck.

I'm fine with the software being borked, I just needed to get a sanity check.

Hi,
I'm on a very old version I believe G910

I've been using GHub for about a month. Running the latest release on Windows 11 and haven't had any issues that I know of.

Just putting it out there, ICUE running with other software for gear has led me to issues more than once. I know they poll the piss out of a system while running ICUE, so much so it breaks their own lighting at times. I am with the others to set a hardware profile and shut that garbage off.

It is also like corsair knows, as they made sure to add hardware settings in ICUE 4 that wasn't there before. What is a hardware setting? Programming the on board so there is no need for ICUE past setup.

I've had ICue installed with LGS at one time, I could prolly install it again to check, not like its useful to me only to see efficiency work as intended.

Corsair has 3 service entries, I've had to disable all 3 to stop them in the Task manager. So obviously the software isnt live. I dont need the Corsair Gaming Audio service so I can leave that disabled, but the other two...

Well, I guess you just cant stop and start those services without reboot windows. It breaks ICue.

all your settings including fan curves, RGB and Pump Speeds are saved to the device.
and for example corsair LLA (service) loves to crash under high CPU loads, resulting in stutter and usb disconnects when icue is running at the same time.

Never had any real issues with it.
