Logitech G Introduces the G915 X Series - The Most Advanced Low-Profile Gaming Keyboard Ever Built

Then again, Keychron's revised K5 Max evidently has a 2.4 GHz receiver in addition to Bluetooth functionality. The hot-swappable version costs a little more than my model, but nice. I'm half-tempted to grab one now; thanks for the heads' up, Logitech! lol
Unfortunately K5 Max has PBT caps with non-shine-through legends, which makes the whole backlight useless. Buying a set of better caps adds to the cost...

Nah, that’s only the cringelords. Actual keyboard enthusiasts celebrate that you can get absolute badass keebs nowadays for half that or slightly more from the likes of Akko, Epomaker, Varmilo, James Donkey, Vortex - you name it. Talking about 200-230 that Logi wants for this thing. Like, there are HE models for 160 nowadays. This price is strictly a branding tax.
400 is definitely endgame build territory that most wouldn’t recommend until one is really sure of what they want and that is going to be full custom, so the price makes sense.
Oh, and no self-respecting “keyboard pervert” (I do dig the term) would recommend Logitech boards.
None of the "brands" you mention are low profile.

I like this one more. The price - not so much.

And Frick wasn’t talking exclusively LP either and I was replying to him, so not sure what the point is here. You want LP - Keychron and NuPhy are that way and neither charge 200-230 either.

Honestly, for something you use as much, the difference between a $200 keyboard and $50 keyboard is the difference between a 50 cent toothbrush and a $2 toothbrush.

Very cool to see them upgrading another keyboard to PBT keycaps, in this price range it should have never been any other way but at least it's good now.

Hopefully this trend will keep spreading within logitech, maybe an MX Master Mechanical with PBT keycaps soon **pretty please**
Great news - stupid ABS ones are terribad. Already had to buy a set of six to replace my 's' key. With this fixed, I might buy one of these when in comes to it instead of going back to Corsair.

Yeah... thats not how this works. I own my pants like 10 years now. Doesnt justify me paying 500 bucks for each tho. You can very much use a 5$ Keyboard,
50 bucks for a mechanical rgb gaming keyboard with some extras is alrerady quite a luxury. This is is just obscene.

Do you wear one single pair of pants for 10 years daily?

/smh

Oh, and I've got a few pairs of pants over $500, even though they're only worn on the occasional night out.

@Endymio dont chocke on that golden spoon. ^^

To what end? They only offer 2-3 models, only one is full size and none of them is low profile.

It's about quality not quantity, Would be nice if they did do a low profile one as you could probably set the key activation anywhere in that 1.5mm travel, and they would most likely be all programmable and not just a lousy 4-5 keys.

Very nice. I would get one. Just the Logitech Tax is a bit much.

Considering the cost of your pc Inc monitor, what would this be, 5% of that, less. Nothing imo. I have used lots of other keyboards and now using the G915 TKL, have to say the best I have used. Even had a couple of Chinese? Off brands which I know some rave about but l stick with my G915 I think.

It says right there in the quote: latest gaming technology :p
Let me capitalise that correctly for you "latest gAmIng technology"

I paid like 10 bucks for my last toothbrush, so I guess this means anything under a grand for a keyboard is ok ?

Treat it with extreme care. As a G915 tactile owner, absolute junk quality fragile keycaps.
How hard do you type ? I've had my TKL G915 tactile for years now and I split a foot underneath but never a even fractured or split a keycap.

they finally fixed the secondary key lighting, wtf 4 years now? I'll be buying it.

Assuming it allows to type even slightly faster, more accurately, or more comfortably -- of course. $1000 would be a steal for that. It'd certainly be far more useful than the same amount spent to swap your already-fast monitor out for a 360 hz version.

I've never split one, but I've rubbed off the coating on dozens, making the keys themselves illegible.

Well we wont talk about the fact I spent a boatload on a new monitor then...

Interesting you've rubbed the key caps off, mine would have to be better than 95% intact (even my gaming keys)

I just want to know If I can buy the key caps so I can replace the shitty ones on my normal G915 that has none of the special characters illuminated like the one on this G915X

Is it weird I'd like them to make a TKL with a few G keys on it ?
