Logitech Introduces the G502 X Gaming Mouse in Wired, Wireless and PLUS Versions

g502 is the most confortable mouse i ever tried, i would not change it for anything else

Same here. It fits my hand perfectly. I won't change it out.

The biggest problem with G502 was terrible battery life - up to 60h is way too low...

This new G502 X claims up to 120h - much better, but still not enough (eg. G903 has 140-180h).

I don't know, I usually go a few weeks in between charges on my 502 Lightspeed. I have the RGB turned off though to maximize my time with it.

I find them a bit too flat compared to older Logitech mice.

What's the brand/model of the keyboard pictured at the bottom left of the image?
Looks interesting.

I can't deny the convenience of plugging in a USB-C cable though - but access to replacement batteries years down the line is a must.

Can be both at the same time. G700 uses 1 AA battery and is charged by microUSB. Same could've been done here with G502 X [whishful thinking mode :D].

I used to be a fast scrolling die-hard way back when, starting with my old G9 (which was absolute murder for my hands, and rather quickly replaced), but after moving to the G602 that lacked it I no longer really see the need. Guess my PC use habits have just changed? I've got an M720 for my laptop which has that wheel, but I always have it in its notched mode these days.

I use G700s on my main PC at home and M702 for my office/work laptop and can't live without the fast-scroll anymore - excel sheets with thousands of lines, long documents, web browsing... It's just too convienient. Wish they switched to the magnetic scroll from MX Master 3, but I can't get everything I want, I guess... :)

That sounds sketchy - either they bundle a relatively expensive NiMh battery, or they risk idiots blowing up alkalines inside of the mouse, ruining it. Either way, bad times ahead for Logitech customer service.
