Recently i bought SH a Sapphire Pulse RX570 4GB, but i can not use it; when i install the drivers the screen goes black but the PC goes (apparently) fine, when i push starting button is shutting down (power is set to to shut down the system when pushed); tested on Win10 (main system) and Win7 (spare system); uninstall the drivers and with generic VGA drivers works and display desktop and all. The sticker on the plastic shroud say " PN: 299-2E388-100SA SKU:11266-04"; GPU-Z report BIOS ver. 015.050.002.001.000000 Device ID: 1002 67DF - 1DA2 E353. It seems that BIOS is for version E353 and the board is E388. I could'nt find a BIOS for E388 version. The card looks legit (identical with those on the Sapphire site), attached you have the picture with the sticker and GPU-Z report. Reported to Sapphire, no answer yet, probably because of the weekend.
Anybody to help me please?

Sometimes i also have the same problem installing new drivers on my RX470 (its literally the same stuff) Try using an older driver 19.7.3 always works for me.

Done that, same situation... and thank you for your kind suggestion. A reflash is the necessary thing; if you look to the GPU-Z report you'll notice that some fields are greyed or missing, wich means that readings are incomplete, i presume that issue is a wrong vBIOS.

Weirdly, after reflash forced the BIOS with version you mentioned (i already have) and installed latest drivers (Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-2020-Edition-19.12.3-Dec18), works ok only HDMI remains active in Windows but pixelated, DVI stops working near the desktop phase. Finally is working but i have to find a solution for that DVI; this is on the spare system, an old ASUS M2N + Athlon X2 5000+ (only first gen. PCIE available). I will make in one of these days a clear reinstall of the Win + drivers to see if the DVI problem is solved.

good to hear that reflashing worked. Please fill in you system(s) description so we can help you better.

also since there are very few Sapphire cards in the bios database it might be worth a try contacting Sapphire support https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/cs_consumer

I won't put it on my system, it was bought for a friend's kid who is student and wanted something cheap for gaming. So he's going to be the happy one.

Yes, they did. I open a ticket in their consumer help site (https://support.sapphiretech.com/ ) sent them pictures with sticker of the board and GPU-Z report and they did sent me a vBIOS in a zip file. It' s unusual?

No its not.

You installed their bios correct?

If you did, do us a favor, open gpu-z click the arrow icon next to the UEFI checkbox and attempt to upload the file through GPU-Z itself to the VGA Bios collection, if you get a prompt that it's already in the database copy and paste the link here. If the file is not, proceed to upload it anyway and give that link too.

Thanks

Hello.
Found this thread on google. I have a video card with the same PN. With BIOS Sapphire.RX570.4096.170306.rom, the card very rarely crashes into the one color screen, it always happens during idle time. Also in Potplayer the driver can very rarely crash, with subsequent recovery. At the same time, in heavy games (RE:VIlage, BF1, Psychonauts 2, etc) the video card works well for hours. I found a solution - this is to set the maximum performance profile in overdriventool.exe, after which the card began to work stably everywhere.
Yesterday I accidentally discovered that there are unverified BIOSes on techpowerup, I downloaded several dozens, but among them I did not find one for the E388, does this BIOS really not exist?
Sorry for my english...

Hello.
Please start a new post with your problem.
In that post describe as well as you can the problems you encounter.
In order for us to narrow the search for a viable BIOS we need the following pictures:
- labels from the card
- GPU-z main screen
- GPU-z > advanced tab and choose memory - to see the exact memory type you have
