well guys , i am lookign for like a very very old ati video card , also does anyone here know which was the first card they ever produced and when was it , and can i still buy it form somewhere , thx ? :D
 
ati rage 128 is the oldest one i can think of .. but there should be earlier ones too

Well I have in front of me a Rage II+ GPU on my 3DXpression+ with a massive 2MB of on-card memory (in DIP package even!). It says (c) 1997 in the corner though so not too old.

i just sent an e-mail to ATI ... god i must be bored... asking what there very first card for the home user was and what the first ATI PCI card was :) will let you know if they reply...

i am willing to spend 50-60 dollars on a very old ati card , so here is the motivation , for anyone that can sell it to me . thx ;)
 
Well, I have an old Rage II+ PCI with 4 MB of memory, but I know there are older ones.
 
The oldest I have is a Radeon 8500 64mb
 
I have an ATI Rage Pro Turbo 8MB AGP. But I doubt it would win your contest.
 
so far the oldest one i found at work from 99 lol... will keep looking :P
