Looking to get NVIDIA CMP 170HX hardware template added

Hello, if possible I would like to request a new hardware template be added for the NVIDIA CMP 170 HX in NVCleanstall. It uses Section072 in the nv_dispi.inf which is different than the other CMPs that are in the list:

%NVIDIA_DEV.20C2% = Section072, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_20C2

NVIDIA_DEV.20C2 = "NVIDIA CMP 170HX"

I tried to use the CMP 90 HX template, rebuild the digital signature options, and manually edit the file before creating a package and it built okay, but fails to install on the Win10 machine.

If I just use the CMP 90 HX template and don't do any manual edits and let it use Section071 (which is what the CMP 90 HX uses) with 20C2 (CMP 170 HX) then it builds and seems to install fine, but not sure if there are any side effects to doing that.

Furthermore, if I simply unzip the latest stock Nvidia driver and make the edits to nv_dispi.inf myself I can get it to install successfully if I use testsigning so it would appear if the new hardware template could be added then I would be good to go.

Thank you.

The template list is based on what the currently selected driver supports out of the box

Any idea what the difference is between Section071 and Section072? This should just be a list of registry keys

Okay, thank you.

I attached a screenshot showing the differences between the two sections. Do you see anything that I should be concerned about?

The last official driver that has CMP 170HX support out of the box (that I have been able to find at least) is: https://www.viperatech.com/assets/471.50_gameready_win10-dch_64bit_international.zip which is quite old so I have been manually modifying the newest versions of the Nvidia drivers before I found your tool, and that has always seemed to work. I just wanted to use your tool to avoid the signing issues and for simpler updating.
