I don't have a lot of cash but I'd like to upgrade my Gigabyte 785G DDR2 mobo to something more modern with CrossfireX capability. This is in my game box and I use the HD5770 currently. Thinking of getting another one and Crossfiring it eventually when the price comes down a little more. I already have some Geil DDR3 1600 2x2 gig RAM and a new X3 740 BE CPU coming next week (out of 93 NewEgg reviews almost all claim to have unlocked the 4th core :D).

I've been looking at an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 790X Motherboard that has the SB750 Southbridge, x8 x8 CrossfireX, 8.2 power section and a heatsink on the MOSFET's. It's just under $100 and I don't see anything better. Does anybody have this board or a better recommendation? :)

It looks good. I have the MSI 790GX-G65 and I like it a lot. It has buttons on the motherboard for reset, power and clear cmos. Not a deal killer, but that feature has made my life so much easier a bunch of times. Seems to be a sale or something, $90 on newegg.

Also unlocked my X3, both core and level 3 cache. :)
