I don't have a lot of cash but I'd like to upgrade my Gigabyte 785G DDR2 mobo to something more modern with CrossfireX capability. This is in my game box and I use the HD5770 currently. Thinking of getting another one and Crossfiring it eventually when the price comes down a little more. I already have some Geil DDR3 1600 2x2 gig RAM and a new X3 740 BE CPU coming next week (out of 93 NewEgg reviews almost all claim to have unlocked the 4th core
).
I've been looking at an ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 790X Motherboard that has the SB750 Southbridge, x8 x8 CrossfireX, 8.2 power section and a heatsink on the MOSFET's. It's just under $100 and I don't see anything better. Does anybody have this board or a better recommendation?
