looking to upgrade

recently i had a power outage for 5 secs and now my comp boots into the bios and does not find the Hard drive , think my hd is toast, it is a 1TB Toshiba, im looking to upgrade the Video Card and the Processor also any help or help on if it is something else either than my hard drive

Open the Case and get a picture of the motherboard where it Says Asus, need to know the specific motherboard model so we know if a core i7 can be dropped into it.
