Demo? Now? That's a bit late?

There isn't much info there about the DLC but, I don't expect much with it seeing as ME2 (including DLCs) has been a big disappointment to me.

5 months. Not ridiculously late but yeah...a AAA title though so this is nice no matter when.

Surely an attempt to attract new players/customers which is what a demo is for...so great!

There's a German version too btw

demos nowadays are released by scene groups,at the day of release ,so they save money and time for developers!!! good and helpful people

I honestly haven't been tempted to purchase any of their DLC. I had already beaten the game by the time they released their first set of paid DLC, and I felt as though there was simply no reason to buy it.

If they would add a good-length side-campaign, I might bite. I think the last DLC that added a campaign was like 4 missions for $12?

Once I find this game for half price, I'll buy it and a demo is better than no demo, so I'm going to give it a go! :)

:toast:

Awesome speed for a standard user (no premium acc) unlike others that cap

I have it on the way from Amazon as we speak for $28 shipped. About 75% through the first one (owned for awhile after a Steam sale but really didn't get into it until recently and now love it) and looking forward to being able to import my character!

It all makes sense:
-Amazon reducing the retail price.
-DLC coming out.
-Demo being released half a year after release.

It all means sales figures are really, really low (noted by Amazon--reduce price to increase volume) and they are trying to boost them with the demo. Why? Because they got more DLCs coming out. I wonder if this next DLC will be the last.

They should have released the demo about 3 months before the game. Now it's way too late.

Overlord DLC is above average/one of the better ones. It has the hammerhead in it but the plot is kind of a rip off from System Shock. It is about 2 hours long if you don't rush.

Man, the low FOV in this game really bugs me and apparently there is no easy and clean fix like in ME1. :(

Try the same fix that worked on Mass Effect. They both use Unreal Engine 3 so they should accept the same engine tweaks.

Well first of all there is no console access that I can find. Secondly supposedly that would screw up the other FOV changes like sniper rifle zoom. For cheats people have tweaked config files as opposed to commands.

This is the best solution I've found but the links are dead:

For most games I like to change it to take advantage of widescreen. With this game I actually need to change it to be comfortable. Worse than Bioshock before the patch.

Well no demo no buy, hey in the end i got the demo and it went on sale so saved me $26 so fine by me :p
