I have 16GB (4x4GB) of Corsair Vengeance, but for some reason im only able to use 8GB.

A2 and A1 slot isnt working at all, i tried single memory, two memories and four memories, if slot A1 and A2 are populated simply doesnot work.

I did some digging and i found out that this issue can be cpu pin related, this information proceeds?

Thanks everyone.

Check the socket for bent or misaligned pins, get an magnifying glass, flashlight or headlamp, and some tiny flathead screw drivers, and carefully re-align the crooked ones. They should stand out at least a little from the rest of them. Also make sure the CPU cooler isn't clamping down too tight. That's where I'd start.

I unscrewed the screw a bit but havent fixed, i reinstalled everything and almost worked.

Now 1 slot isnt working haha, but at least now i have 12 gigs, better than 8.

Can this be bended pins?

Yes. The memory controller is integrated in the CPU so if the pins are having alignment or contact issues, you won't see all of your RAM. If pins are broken the you need a new board. I believe the PCIe lanes are from the CPU as well. And making a minor change has made a noticeable difference based on your report.

Take the CPU out and get your magnifying glass and inspect the pins.
