Maybe you can help, Memory not stable at stock specs

yeah, :( at least I can use the computer until I get the ok for an RMA.

do you have some spare sticks of ram lying around or are you just going to muscle on & keep using them till its time to package & send them off?

No, I don't. Just going to use them with loose timings and underclocked until then. Sadly, it is the end of the world. lol.

well - if you got spare cash, rather then sit around waiting for a month for them to send it back (not too sure how long OCZ RMA takes) buy a new set, something different then the bad set which Im guessing probably had compatibility issues with your chipset/motherboard & then just sell them on here or ebay.

thats the samething I did when my mobo & 4870 stopped working.

mobo died - sent off for RMA, bought another one - sold the returned board to a member on here,
4870 died - bought another 4870 & crossfired them when the other returned.

you do realise that phenom II only supports 1333mhz ddr3, i suffered the same problem with making 1600 run. i could never just set it to 1600 i had to increase the fsb and drop the multi to acheive the rated 1600 speed.

According to numerous reviews it should work just fine at 1600 with my setup. Also, I just got off the phone with an OCZ techhead and he staight up said I have faulty sticks.
