Hi everyone
Today i decided to increase my pc ram from 32 gig to 64 gig this is my pc info
Motherboard: Asus tuf gaming z-690 plus wifi d4
Cpu : intel 12700k
Ram : 32 (2*16) gig corsair vengeance pro 3600 mhz
So i just bought an other corsair with same brand same frequency but after windows coming up after a while i getting blue screen i checked my memory with memory diagnostic tool it show error when i put all 4 in slots i tried them 2*2 and they worked fine so i think my motherboard and rams are fine maybe i miss something on bios settings? On bios xmp 1 is enabled and frequency is set to 3600 memory voltage is 1.35000 any clue ?

Mixing ram is never a good idea. Is the revision number the same on the DIMMs?

Besides that you probably just need to enforce Command Rate 2 (2T) in the timings. Auto often just has it set as 1T.

Yes they exactly same (vengeance pro 3600 mhz)
Can you explain a bit more about that command ? Where should I change it ? I also read somewhere that mentions xmp not work with 4 slot is that true?

It can be the same model, but the revision number can be different. Pretty common for Corsair. It's written on the DIMM stickers.

Anyways, the command rate can be changed in the memory settings within the BIOS. It will be on Auto by default. Pick 2T instead.

XMP works on 4 slots, it's just that if you populate all 4 slots, the maximum speed is lowered. 3200 probably will work, but 3600 might be iffy for that 12th gen if your after plug n play XMP stuff.

I checked my bios settings i have 1N , 2N and 3N there is no 2T option

2N is it. Vendors like to call these things different, but it's the same.

Hi,
Name means little
The ver# is on the memory stick label if they do not match they are not the same regardless of brand naming.
