Exactly what kind of performance increase are you looking for? There are few scenarios where faster memory would help a great deal. Maybe list your system specs and we could make a better recommendation for you budget.

hi, well it all started with me trying to over clock my cpu (i7 960 3.2Ghz)... right now i have it at 3878.17Mhz stable (i am running prime right now as i type this and everything is smooth) but the memory speed is the bottle neck, i cannot go higher than that... so i guess i am just trying to squeeze every oz of performance out of my rig before i even think about upgrading. i just don't know if it's worth buying 1866 memory... oh btw, i like to edit vide0 and transcode from bluray using handbrake.

Any reason you can't drop the multiplier on your memory and then overclock it back to 1333MHz?
