Just browsing Micro Center's website and noticed they have listed refurbished FE cards for Ampere. At my local Micro Center they show the following:
3090Ti - $799.99
3080Ti - $599.99
3080 - $499.99
3070Ti - $349.99
I went to a few other locations on the Micro Center website and the few others I looked at at least have the 3090Ti and 3080Ti available. I didn't look for all FE models. You'll have to check your local Micro Center location to see if these are available near you.
I don't know if the 3080Ti is a good deal at $599.99 nor the 3080 at $499.99. I'd much rather get a RX 7800XT for around $500 for a few reasons:
1) newer generation and NIB
2) similar or better performance to the 3080Ti and 3080 for rasterization (I don't care about RT)
3) lower power draw for gaming, beating the 3080 by roughly 80W and the 3080Ti by roughly 100W
However, they are available and they are FE cards, which some people do find appealing. This might be something to consider if you're in the market for a new card or you just simply need a FE model.
Personally, the 3090Ti is pretty tempting were I in the market for a high-end GPU. Cheaper than the 4080S by $200 and only about 15% behind it in performance.
