Microsoft Dives into the Internals of Windows 11

You can do all that in Windows 10 in the power features they never turn on.
 
I take it you have no idea how a TPM works.
Most people don't. It's just a hardware keylocker... Still not my fave model, but not at a what people think it is.

You seem to be the one with no idea how a TPM actually works if you think what he said is in some way incorrect. All TPMs have immutable keys burned in at manufacturing time (called 'Endorsement Keys'), which are unique per TPM.
Until a platform reset on a firmware one (which is most now) sure.

I buy into the use of TPM for DRM, but not for unique ID beyond them burning their own keys to ID an individual install. Really doubt they'd id via endorsement keys.

And all of it is flawed and dumb but that's a seperate issue.

I'm thinking the HDR feature upgrades are worth the upgrade.
