Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

This will be fun and you get to land on an aircraft carrier!

Microsoft Flight Simulator – Top Gun: Maverick Expansion – Available Now (Free)​

 
I just downloaded the Top Gun Maverick expansion. Learning to fly an F/A 18E
 
Tried about 10 times, have not landed it yet.

Back in the 90's I use to fly = F117A Nighthawk Stealth fighter + Falcon 4 - the USAF's F16C Block 50, fighter and the hardest think was always a carrier landing.

So don't feel bad = just keep practising, you'll get it in the end.

I started flying with Falcon 4. Man, it's come along way

Block 50/52 F-16s were known as CJ, they are now CM

The ldg on the F-16 is not designed for carrier landings, where the F/A-18s are.

There is a arrestor hook but that is for emergency landings on the F-16.

I miss combat flight similator, by.far more entertaining...
 
This is DCS world but still cool
