Microsoft has released a new patch that should fix the game issues.
KB5004296 should resolve all complaints Windows 10 users have regarding performance issues,
launching certain games, sound issues, text input issues, power settings, connectivity issues, and printing issues.

The new patch updates Windows 10 2004 to build 19041.1151 and Windows 10 21H1 to build 19043.1151.
The update will roll out automatically, but users who don't want to wait can also manually download and install the patch from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

I wish they would fix the take a screenshot feature. It worked for a while...then it didn't.
I will NOT dig in to the Registry to fix that myself. :banghead:

Interesting, but after re-installing windows 10 & ensure all updates are done to 21H1. The game bar still does not come up as it should according to this article from couple yrs back now,
I want that FPS counter to compare with steams.

Using an un-modded W10 install? Win+G has worked for me on every 10 and 11 install to open the game bar, so does holding the button on an Xbox controller

un-modded sir. Xbox bar come up but only for screen recording stuff, this is on the pro version. Game mode is ON.
Interestingly I have the home version on another machine & the Xbox game bar comes up with all its feature sets as expected from that app.

Windows key + Print Screen button can also change the file location of the captures folder it saves to in the folder properties of it by changing the target location which if windows is installed on a flash drive you might want to swap the location to a mechanical drive to save on disk writes and storage space.
