Microsoft to Acquire Activision Blizzard to Bring the Joy and Community of Gaming to Everyone, Across Every Device

Plz let it happen. More exclusive games for PC and XBOX! F@ck PS fanboys! Let's see if they like it now!
Err, what about those with a pc and a PS4(cos shortage).
Is there really any need for that sentiment when you're clearly shouting out your at least as big an Xbox fanboi.

Games within borders has always been a thing, I only experience Nintendo games in the homes of friends for example.

But my brain doesn't understand fu£# them biatch mario bast@#£@ either.

Ewwe to the purchase , I don't much care for either company, they're both good/shit at times but I don't like, more companies squashed into one, stifling innovation (which lets face it is near dead at this point), competition and price's.

So, does this mean Microsoft will end the console wars victoriously? Well, that's a lot! As a gamer though, I'm glad to hear this, because the Game Pass library will be expanded. :D

I stopped, it is a big battery killer, charge, dead, charge, dead etc
You must have a really terrible phone then.

If you mean gaming on pc one would need a video card. Hey MS your should sell me a 6800XT for $500 and then make up the extra money selling me games like you do with consoles. ;)

I guess the cancer is too deeply seated to be removed at this stage. Im willing to bet that Kotick and the rest of the board members agreed to the sale to microsoft as a get out of jail free card for them to further destroy and hide evidence of what went on before the the acquisition.

Or is Microsoft also 'one of the boys' who is also in on it when it comes to the accusations from members of staff??

Could be a provisional thing. Usually when a company is acquired the former CEO is kept on for a bit to "ease transition" then is usually replaced by a CEO installed by the new owners.

Well i'm not an idiot who spends £$600+ on a phone if that's what you mean. My phone is for text, phone, music, bit of browsing. My PC is for gaming. What am i gonna do, sit at home playing games on my phone when i have a PC. I have a few crappy games on it that i play on the shitter, but i don't "use" it to play games on.

Fingers crossed that this will not affect Fable, Dragon Age and Mass Effect in a bad way.
Fable also has nothing to do with either Activision or Blizzard. Microsoft owns the franchise since 2006 when they bought Lionhead Studios. And the new title is in development at Playground Games which is also owned by Microsoft since 2018.

See, you play casual games on your phone, so you belong in that 95 percent, plus the PC gamer category.
I didn't spend $600+ on my phone either, although close, but I got something with a decent battery in it, so I can use it for whatever I want and still end the day with charge left.

Is this good or bad? Can't really tell.

I only usually charge mine every second day, used to be a few times a day when i was proper gaming on it, mostly emulators.

Until the deal is final, which should be 2023. I am assuming he'll be handsomely rewarded on his way out. I can't see anyone in their right mind buying the company and just keeping it as is.

Personally I'm fine with this. Conceptually this kind of consolidation is bad, but it's the way of the world unfortunately. The best thing would be if every AAA publisher just changed, but that ain't gonna happen.

World of Warcraft on the Xbox? That's brilliant! It's like seeing a building on fire and saying, I can put out that fire by knocking down that building!

Shit. Nothing will change then, the same toxic workplace attitudes that landed Activision Blizzard in legal hot water with the State of California will continue.

How about OW2 in Game pass?
I have no issues paying $60 for OW2. I'm still playing the game (since open beta) and have more than 6k hours in it. I mean... well spent money imo.

Wooooow, this is massive. Way to deal with that cancer of a company.

$68.7 billion in cash?!

I hope they get pulled over by the cops haha.

More games i will not be buying.

Remember back around 2002-2008 when the three B's (Bioware, Bethesda, Blizzard) could do no wrong in the eyes of PC gamers?

You don't play games on your mobile devices?
Look at this way, casual gamers mostly play on mobile devices.

Not at all, I still doubt it. Id love to see any kind of data on it instead of what a game studio says.
