Microsoft will be doing a major overhaul of the Xbox Live service. This update will take care of a lot of issues and make browsing the online market place much easier. Turns out the market place has become a huge hit, much better than Microsoft anticipated and there are currently over 1000 items listed, so the interface to locate content has been simplified. User can now finally download in the background instead of having to wait until the download has finished. Another big feature is the boot directly to the dashboard for everyone wanting to use the Xbox 360 as a media extender. No mention of the actual release date has been made.
