Any one know if there are any modded drivers around for GTX 5xx cards, My sisters kids want to play the BF V beta but can't because nvidia dropped support and they need the newest drivers.

I'm afraid there is no such thing since windows 8.1 which introduced much more restrictions on driver signing. You may try download latest driver and add to it device id from compatible driver, then disable driver signing check in windows and try to install your modded driver but i doubt it will work.

Sell that GTX and get a GTX660/760 you can play Battlefield V on 1080p low details with >40 fps.

Yeah its just all the kids have 580/590s and the 590 still plays most games on low res, it be upto my sister to buy them new GPUs lol.

Why? As in how do "the newest drivers" make the game playable? I don't get it...

no amount of driver modding is gonna be bitterfail V playable on a 580
old card is old upgrade or die
you know the drill

Unfortunately, when AMD or NVIDIA drop support for their old cards, it's time to upgrade that card, unless you just wanna play around with them,, or old games, or use them for desktop use only. At least they added DX12 capability to the 500 series, for what it's worth, lol.

Thing is, even something something low to midrange like a GTX 1050 would blow away that old card and not cost that much. It would also get you the latest technology. The 20 series release on the 20th, but high end cards only at exhorbitant prices from the looks of it, so fuggedaboutdit.

Please add your system specs to your user profile, so we can check that there aren't any issues with the system that would prevent such an upgrade. By the sound of it, it's old so there may well be.

Here is some affirmation yes the GTX 580 doesn't do too bad however support is becoming less and less for that card the only way that you'd be able to run anything is to use the last known working driver for it or switch operating system to older version such as Windows 7 which now just got three additional years of support.

And here is where you are wrong:

I belive there is even a way to play a Cyberpunk 2077 on Fermi because I saw someone do it, still working on details for it tho

nvcleanstall has an add driver support option thing, no idea if it works for fermi though.
