Motherboard PCI Express 1.0 or 2.0

Hallo I wanted to buy a R9 280x for around 180 euros but now I don´t know which PCI Express version my motherboard has. I already searched everywhere but I can´t find it. Could you help me pls. The picture shows some infos. And is it 1.0 when it shows there on the bottom only PCI Express?

If you overclock the CPU around 3.8Ghz (I assume it is a dual core for you), it might be the bare minimum, but still you won't unlock the potential of the card. As a step up in partial upgrade plan yes, why not...

Still I cannot see why you cannot afford Pentium Anniversary edition and cheapest H81 mobo... it costs around 100Euro + RAM amount you desire...

I only wanted to buy a new graphic card at a decent prise, because I don´t play the whole time with my Pc mostly I work on it. So i wanted to do a cheap fast upgrade

PS: What motherboard you suggestet clearly? I found this one Intel DP45SG.
And it´s a quad core q9400

I wouldn't worry too much. PCI-E 1.1 is "good enough" for modern GPU's and provides an acceptable % of performance.

Mhh it seems like between 1.1 16x and 2.0 16x isn´t an that big difference but depends it on the aplications or??

q9400? Well if you sell the CPU, you might cover up the costs for new upgrade lol... and RAM too. They tend to be very expensive.

Yes, PCIE 1.0 x16 is enough, no problems there.

But the motherboard... It so old, that it might kick the bucket soon. You can pick any of budget H81 series... a matter of taste and price, you will get a hadware with warranty, SATA3, USB3 and other small but good things...
