What kind of memory do you have. I had a very similar problem. I found out my memory runs at 2.1V and my MB defaults to 1.8V. Once I changed it in the Bios it worked flawlessly. I don't know if this is your problem but it is worth the 5 minutes to research your memory voltage and the bios setting.

Also check your boot setting in the bios to make sure that your HD is one of the first two options. Sometimes it won't put the HD on there by default. It is rare but happens.

Is your computer overclocked, if it is first put it all on defolt. Did you check in bios for boot sequence?

hey thanks for the help but i found out it was my ide cable :D
the one i was using is fine and works but for some reason only the one supplied worked with the mobo. Dunno why.
oh and ive never overclocked my rig ever :D i dunno wat im doin or weather the cooling i have would cope be be too scared of frying it :p

Don't be scared of overclocking just read up before hand so you know what you're doing and take it step by step. Raise things slowly.

Thing is ive tried but everywhere its people talking bout over clockin to people who no about it, i carn't find anything for complete beginers. I mean i dont no what temp my cpu or gpu should be at and when it too hot or even how to raise things up :D

if it happend turn off the sata naitive mode from bios
