Motherboard Problem

Ok I recently built my own PC and have a problem. The problem is that when I turn it on, the Fan and the green light in the motherboard are working. But it doesn't display anything in the monitor. So I therefore can't get into the BIOS or anything like that.

I tested the motherboard and it is working fine. Because when I took out all of my RAM sticks out it started to beep.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I believe it is a video card issue but now the question is what is wrong with it.

if you could...post all your specs for the system...your cpu, gpu, mobo, ram, etc..model numbers only is fine...then we can help you better...

Here are the Specs

Let me know if you need anything else.

*Another thing is, it used to be a fully featured computer. What I did is moved all the parts to a new Case. Before moving into the new case my motherboard wasn't working. So I purchased a new motherboard (exact same model) and moved everything to the new case exactly the way it was in the old case. But now nothing is showing up on screen :(.

what kind of monitor?

Its a 17 Inch Monitor. The Brand is Gateway... I actually tested the Monitor in my other Computer and it works great :).

Silly question...did you put the spacer under the motherboard in the new case?

seems like anthoer stupid question but make sure you've plugged in all the required power connectors... it easy to miss one

NOT a silly question LOL. Also, you can make little cardboard washers to fit under the mobo JUST in case...

Yeah, there are alot of combos you can try. :p

pull the tv tuner card out and try to reboot then....i have had issues with tv tuner cards like that...black screen and no post or error beeps...removed the card and everything fired up...

or try to take out one stick of ram and reboot...if nothing changes, then switch the ram (still only using one stick) then reboot....

tough problem man...good luck with it...:rockout:
