So I get this error saying my MTU needs to be set to 1364 or higher, well its set to 1500 on my router...

I connected my 360 directly to my modem and it had the MTU error again... How do i change the MTU on the Modem to 1364 or higher?

FYI: My router is a D'link DGL 4300 Gaming router that has the Xbox live compatible logo on the box.

If it does it plugged straight into the modem, then there is nothing wrong with the router.

Have you got another cable to try?

Otherwise, get hold of your ISP.

I tried 2 different Ethernet cables to make sure the cables were ok.

The Xbox was working fine with live yestarday:shadedshu

I'd ring ISP and see what they say, might be able to talk you through it or at their end.

Unless you know of how to access settings of the modem.

Have you any other 360's to try it out on?

Well I logged in on my mates 360 and it had no problem, then I tried with my 360 and its like there was never any problem WTFH...

after 3 hours of trouble shooting the problem just fix's itself.....

Wierd might have just been a temporary big with the modem thats now fixed or something.

Glad you got it fixed.
