My cpu has stopped working

But he's here asking for ideas. That's why we're here and responding to his question. (it's what we do)
Helpful, logical ideas, not idea's pulled out of the south end of a northbound moose.

To the OP: I personally would test the PSU first. Then the Mainboard. If no joy, RMA the CPU.
You're forgetting the part where the OP stated that one CPU is working and one is not. If it were the PSU or mobo, both CPU's would be having issues equally.

I filled a warranty request form on AMD's website.
