My dead psu took out a few of my components, a couple were usb devices, 64gig high speed Mushkin flash drive, and my G700s mouse... I'm poor as hell, but I simply can't work with a dell 2 button wheel mouse. I figured since I'm starving myself for yet another month, for a new psu ect, might as well get a decent mouse. Locked onto the Corsair M95, it looks like a little beast. I like the more conventional shape of it, should fit my hand well. It looks like even Logitech is getting into those weird space ship concepts, I'm just not into that. Anyone have the M95 and know if it's any good before I spend my food money on it? Also is the Corsair software any good? I need to go down to 150-200 dpi to aim in Wot ect....

Roccat Tyon or Kone XTD. I felt the Kone and it felt like my mx510 in the day

how can a PSU fry a wireless mouse? if its the receiver, why not just replace that?

Can you RMA it through Logitech? It should have a 3 year warranty and when my G700 died, they didn't even have me send it back, they just sent me a new one.

The G700s charges via USB cable(and actually works as a wired mouse when plugged in through the USB charging cable). I assume he had it plugged in when his PSU went.

Yes, it was plugged in, I usually use it in wired mode. It should still be under warranty, so I probably will try to send it back. Unfortunately, doesn't help me now. I looked at the Roccat XTD... it's nice, but 8 buttons not enough.
And it's 20 bucks more than the M95. Arg, why do half decent mice have to cost so much!

i own the G700s, thats all. i charge mine from a phone charger and not a USB port, so this could never have happened to me.

Does no good for me. I used it as a wired mouse. I liked it because the cable could be easily replaced if it was damaged. Dam, maybe I'll just spend the extra 10 and buy another one.
The G700s is a stellar performer for sure. Arg, may have to change my order by tomorrow.....

It Kone Xtd has 10 total buttons- L+R CLICK, L+R TILT, FWD+ BACK Tumb, WINDOWS/TASK SWITCH (fwd of scroll wheel), sensitivity+ - (aft of scroll wheel), then scroll wheel click.

Im UT 99/2004 Id use uberoptions on my mx510 to assign kbd functions for weapons or action switcheson the fly. The mouse didnt have scroll tilt or sensitivity, it had quick scroll+ - along with application switch. the mx510 had 8buttons total.

If you need button you can buy the M90 instead of the M95 and save some money .
Im using the m90 and is great XD payed 49€ 1 year ago.

thanks for your suggestion.

what a dubious first post, i sincerely hope you arent silly enough to try and edit spam into that post at a later date.

Good luck,, Logitech's RMA dept isn't as good to deal with as they used to. -_-

I think HIDs (human interface devices) like keyboards and mice are too personal and while others can report on things like reliability, ruggedness and tracking, only you can decide if it feels right in your hands. So I really think you need to visit local computer stores and play touchy-feely for yourself.

Heh, I live in the middle of nowhere, computer places around here don't even know what a gaming mouse is. Decided I needed a change from Logitech for now, and the M95 is on a good sale, same price as the M65... Time for a new toy!

get a level 10m and enjoy world's best mouse...
im pretty impresed with mine, also if mine dies... i would replace it with a red or green level 10m ... :D

Well, dead broke again... pulled trigger on the xtr 750w and the m95. Can't wait to get my main box up and running again.

I'll have to do that. The G700s does deserve kudos, and I almost bought another one, but gave in to Shinyitis.....

Psychic powers telling me a future "I hate Logitech RMA and company because cry, cry, cry" will be EDITED in there in the future :) Spidey senses are strong with this one....
