my laptop goes into thermal throttling at 70 degrees and drops to 400mhz when I play I changed the thermal paste and I bought a thermal pad as well but nothing please help PS I have an i7 1165g7 hp pavilion 15
Your log file for 90 seconds and your screenshot do not show any throttling. Play a game for 15 minutes. Show me 15 minutes of data so I can see the throttling problem.
Many laptops with 1165G7 processors have barely adequate cooling. Poorly designed laptops will run very hot when playing games. Avoid buying laptops with low power G7 processors if smooth game play is important to you.
Did you watch the video I posted? Try using some genuine Honeywell PTM 7950 thermal paste.
ok so the temperatures are very stable the maximum they have reached and at 78 degrees the clock frequency goes from 3004 MHz to 1900 MHz and so on but I have seen that the battery, despite being connected to the power supply, drops the percentage
I forgot to tell you that I played a lot and didn't experience any kind of throttling
The log file shows non stop throttling. Power limit throttling and thermal throttling at 70°C. There is so much throttling that I guess you have become used to poor performance.
Post a screenshot of the ThrottleStop Options window. The Lock PROCHOT Offset box needs to be checked. That is why your computer is thermal throttling at only 70°C.
