This is a known issue among all ASUS x299 motherboards. The only fix I've tried and found that worked was updating the BIOS or rolling back the BIOS. Most cases rolling back the BIOS is the fix but then you loss the ability to use the 10xxx series chips. My suggestion is to ditch the ASUS board and get a better supported board with an awesome BIOS like an EVGA Dark/FTW-K . GL!!
